Squid Game is a film series that became very popular because of its peculiar story line. I became a fan and if you are also then you will recognize a few different meanings to this logo I have created in homage to some of its story. The Dead Zone was a bizarre unusual movie by David Cronenberg. This image depicts the intro logo to the movie but I have stylized the font and added one of my painted landscapes in the letters which has a meaningful choice to me personally. I was on a plane when I took this photo looking out the window. Later I looked at the photo and thought this would be perfect to add a little something.

When I visited the souther end of the Grand Canyon. I took photos of the landscape and the Indians demonstrating their rituals. I wanted to show with this image that the history of that land is belongs to them.

My digital collage features the “Kakaso’Las” Totem, carved by Ellen Neel, a Kwakwakaʼwakw artist also known as the first woman to have. This totem currently resides in Stanley Park, Vancouver, BC. Click on the link to read my post about the inspiration.
